Independent Medical Solutions announce highly important first aid training for all parents and grandparents…The 'Parent and Grandparent Emergency First Aid Course'.

However, when one talks about first aid courses, these are typical comments from people, in all walks of life:

“I can’t do medical stuff, it’s too difficult.”

“First Aid training, I’ll never need it.”

“I’m a grandparent, I’m too old to learn.”

“I don’t have time for training I’m too busy with my family.”

This parent however, a mother in Manchester, did find the time to receive training and used the skills that she had learned, to save her babies life. She said: “Going on this course saved my boy’s life...without it I wouldn't’t have had a clue what to do.”

Spare time is such a precious commodity in our professional or personal lives. We all rush from one task to another…work, family, eat, sleep…work, family, eat, sleep, with no time to spare, however, is that strictly true?

We can find time for some other things, social media, reading, shopping, socialising, hobbies, etc. True, these are important social, leisure and learning activities, which can enrich or embellish our lives. These newly learned skills can be life changing, but are they life saving?

What is more important than the health and safety of your children or grandchildren?

Would you know what to do if your child, fainted, started choking or convulsing, stopped breathing, or was drowning?

Simon Underwood and many other ‘Everyday Heroes’, recognised by St. John Ambulance, knew what to do, saving precious lives. Read the remarkable real life saving stories and view the video:
